Stats

How do stats work for Degens?

There are 2 few major stats that all Degens have that are used to measure how "good" it is.

  1. Core Score

  2. Damage Cap

Items that (when equipped) add Core:

  • Weapons

  • Equipment

Items that (when equipped) add Damage:

  • Weapons

  • Mods

Let's get into what each of these stats mean.

Core Score

Your Degen's "Core" is basically its "Power Level". Core score is the sum of the Degen's base core plus all of it's equipped items.

Each Degen starts with a base core of 5,000.

Core acts as the maximum health a Degen has, AND the maximum amount of damage it can do per turn. (Only applies in PVP or Daily Event Battles)

Damage Cap

Your damage cap is a percentage of your Degen's total score that represents the maximum amount of damage you can do per turn. (Applies to PVP and Bounties Only) You can think of the damage cap as a handicap, or your Degen's "potential". It was put in place so early-game players can't get a lucky roll and 1 shot people with a frying pan. :) Players must increase their core score, but can also increase their damage cap so that they can do more damage. Increasing core score usually costs resources or capital, and you only have a limited amount of gear slots. Increasing your damage cap may be an easier way to scale your Degen when you already have pretty decent weapons. (Although, increasing damage cap is significantly more difficult.)

Each Degen starts with a 10,000 Damage Cap. (Meaning new Degens can deal a maximum 10% of their total core score as damage per turn.) Damage Cap is usually represented as a number from 0-100,000. 10,000 = 10% 50,000 = 50% 100,000 = 100%
